An orientation meeting for families who were unable to attend one of the earlier orientation meetings is scheduled for Tuesday, July 15, from 7:00-8:00 pm in the church. All eighth graders who would like to be confirmed in the spring and have not yet attended orientation should attend this meeting with a parent. Questions? Please call Mrs. Bergman at the RE Office.

Here at Queen of the Rosary, we are blessed with dedicated men and women who are willing to share the Catholic faith with the children enrolled in Religious Education. This year, it's necessary to add several volunteers to the roster to fill catechist openings in grades 1, 4, and 8. To serve as a catechist, one should be a practicing member of the Catholic Church who is interested in sharing the faith with the children. In keeping with archdiocesan policy, each new catechist must complete a background check and attend a sexual abuse awareness program sponsored by the archdiocese. Registration for Religious Education for children in Pre-K—grade 8 is currently in progress. Registration packets were mailed to all families with children enrolled in Religious Education during the 07-08 year. Registration packets for families new to the program (and for those who may need an additional packet) are available at the Religious Education Office (847-437-3349) or on the parish website (www.qotr.org).
