Moving the Tabernacle and the Altar |

On Saturday, March 15th, 2008, after considerable
thought and seeking guidance from several parishioners, staff, and the
liturgy committee, the decision was made regarding the movement of the
tabernacle to a place "noble, worthy, conspicuous, well decorated and
suitable for prayer". It was placed in the spot previously
occupied by the celebrant's chair. In addition to moving the
tabernacle, the altar was also moved to a more suitable place - back to
it's original location on the raised platform that was built for it. The talent and time required to undertake this important change to our church were graciously donated by the following individuals from the Machinery Movers, Riggers and Machinery Erectors Local Union 136:
