Bereavement:

This Ministry witnesses Christ's love for his flock by sharing with fellow parishioners the loss of a loved one by their presence and help in planning a funeral liturgy.  Contact the Parish Office at 847-437-0403.

Catholics Returning Home:

Evangelization within the Catholic Church is normally associated with missionary activity.  However, a real need for evangelization exists for those in our own community who have left the Church.  While all of us are called to share our faith, many of us know non-practicing Catholics in our circle of family and friends and are wondering if they'd be interested in coming back but don't know how to do so.  Any questions, call Keith Strohm, Director of Faith Formation at 847-437-0403.

Health Committee:

The focus of this committee is to promote the importance of health and wellness to the parish community.  Contact Mrs. Diane Tieman - 847-437-3905.

Interfaith Pastoral Counseling:

Services include individual, group, and family counseling for children, adolescents, and adults in the Parish and Community.  Private insurance may be used to cover counseling costs.  Hours are by appointment.  Please call 847-981-3514 to speak with a counselor.

Parish Nurse Program:

A partnership between Queen of the Rosary Church and the Alexian Brothers Health Network.  The Parish Nurse is the link that helps our Parish through presence and volunteer placement.  Contact Mrs. Diane Tieman - 847-437-3905.

Prayer Shawl:

The Prayer Shawl apostolates provides a way to literally wrap people in prayer.  Prayer shawls are knitted or crocheted by members of the parish and then given to those members of the church or community which are in need of our prayers.  Contact Mrs. Diane Tieman - 847-437-3905

Reflections (Women's Spirituality):

A women's spirituality group that meets the second and fourth Monday of every month for discussion and reflection on how God is present in the daily activities and concerns of women.  Contact Mrs. Diane Tieman - 847-437-3905.
