Grade 8 Program

___________________

The Grade 8 Program at Queen of the Rosary Parish focuses on preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation.  Key objectives are:

  • Growth in Knowledge: through teaching, study, Scripture, and class discussions
  • Increase in Faith: through prayer, sharing faith, and the sacraments
  • Growth in Love: by service to others in our family, church, and community

Students use the Chosen videos and text to learn about the Holy Spirit, the sacrament of Confirmation, discipleship, faith, love, holiness, the Church, and how to be a witness to Christ in the world.  Important topics such as prayer, liturgy, Scripture, service, chastity, and ministry are integrated into the Program.
