Proclamation
Recognizing Queen of the Rosary School
on being Named as 
one of the Top 25 Private Elementary Schools in the 
Chicagoland area

		Whereas, Chicago Magazine reviewed 1,740 public and private schools in the 
		five county metropolitan area; and,

		Whereas, Chicago Magazine utilized average class size, school enrollment, 
		pupil-teacher ratio, teacher experience, budget and test scores to rank schools; and

		Whereas, in its October 2006 issue, Chicago Magazine published a list of its 
		top 100 selected public and private schools; and,

		Whereas, Queen of the Rosary School in Elk Grove Village was listed as one of 
		The top 25 Private Elementary Schools and top 100 elementary schools in the 
		Chicagoland area based upon Chicago Magazine’s criteria for excellence.

		Now, Therefore, I Craig B. Johnson, Mayor of the Village of Elk Gove, do hereby
		proclaim and recognize the accomplishment of Queen of the Rosary School in being
		named one of the Top 25 private schools and congratulate Queen of the Rosary and
		its students, teachers, and administrators on attaining this honor, and wish Queen of 
		the Rosary School continued future educational success.
